IDM is a non-profit company and a wholly owned subsidiary of the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. Our founding team combines frontline clinical experience with deep expertise in software engineering, data science, and artificial intelligence.

Our edge: we live inside the hospital. We understand clinical workflows not from research papers, but from building tools used in daily patient care. Tools that save physicians hours of documentation time and keep all data under hospital control.

We are a growing, interdisciplinary team of engineers, physicians, medical students, and AI researchers, united by one mission: AI for better medicine.

IDM is a non-profit. What we earn goes back into development. Our job is to make medical AI broadly available, for clinicians and for patients.

Foundation

Own GPU infrastructure. Own AI models, developed and operated in Germany. From the model to the compute, we build and run all of it ourselves.

Security

Built in Germany. No data shared with third parties.

Iteration

Co-creative development with daily feedback loops between users and developers.
