### ORPHEUS – Medical AI speech recognition
Speech recognition trained for clinical German (and English since v3.2). Works with standard microphones on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and web, designed for GDPR-compliant use, hosted in Germany (STACKIT / GWDG / on-premise). Rolled out across 40+ hospitals and 500+ practices. Templates, custom vocabulary, ambient documentation, automatic punctuation. Pricing (net, excl. VAT): Standard €15 per user / month or €150 per user / year. Enterprise campus licenses (clinics / clinic groups) and Universitätskliniken (academic) on request.

**Ambient documentation:** ORPHEUS listens to the doctor-patient conversation (with consent), separates speakers, and turns the conversation into a structured clinical note including ICD-10 code suggestions. ORPHEUS is an ambient scribe developed and hosted entirely in Germany — own AI model, no third-party APIs.

### ARGO – a platform for clinical documentation
ARGO is a platform, not a single application. **IDMBase** connects a hospital's existing systems and converts their data into one shared FHIR standard; AI modules for individual documentation tasks run on top of that layer. Interoperability is the core of the product. The AI models behind the modules are trained on clinical documentation data from the development partnership with UKE. In use at University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) since 2024 and at Schön Klinik since August 2026.

Why it exists: physicians in German hospitals spend an average of 2.9 hours per working day on documentation, nurses 2.7 hours (DKI flash survey on administrative burden for the German Hospital Federation, July 2024, 225 general hospitals and 98 psychiatric hospitals). ARGO drafts the discharge letter, ward documentation and private-billing invoice from data that already exists in the hospital's systems; every generated sentence carries its source, and people review and release.

Module status, as of August 2026:
- **Discharge letters** (in use). Drafts assembled from the patient record (radiology, labs, medication, notes), each generated sentence linked to its source. Runs through the hospital's own approval workflow with versions, comments and co-signature. The approved letter is written back to the archive over HL7 so it is visible in the existing systems. In use at UKE since 2024 and at Schön Klinik since August 2026. Formerly branded "ARGO-CL"; that name is retired.
- **Speech recognition in the workspace** (in use). ORPHEUS dictations land directly in ARGO.
- **FHIR data layer / IDMBase** (in use). Connectors specialised for each source system read from HIS, PDMS, PACS, lab and archive; data is transformed into validated FHIR resources (with LOINC and SNOMED CT codes where available) and stored in the interoperability platform, including the full patient history, not only the current state. Processing is continuously monitored so clinical operations stay untouched.
- **Nursing and ward documentation** (piloting on first wards). Time grid across the ward's patients, task sets per department, shift handover, ward metrics.
- **Private billing under GOÄ** (rolling out). Draft invoice derived from the documented case with GOÄ code, multiplier and justification per line. The billing team reviews and releases; nothing leaves the system without that release. Issued invoices are immutable and sequentially numbered under § 14 UStG and GoBD.
- **Longitudinal patient record** (view in development; the underlying history is already held in IDMBase), **nursing workload under PPR 2.0**, **coding** (in development, not available today).

ARGO and IDMBase are not medical devices. The modules produce drafts and suggestions; the final clinical decision stays with the physician, and no result leaves the system without human approval.
