About IDM

IDM gGmbH is a nonprofit subsidiary of the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) building AI for hospitals. ORPHEUS is AI speech recognition for clinical documentation, rolled out across 40+ hospitals and 500+ practices. ARGO brings scattered hospital IT onto one workspace.

We are scaling. The product works in day-to-day clinical care; now it needs to reach every hospital and practice that wants to lighten its documentation load. We are looking for people who get things done and want to help build a sales organisation rather than inherit one.

The Role

In Product & Growth you sell ORPHEUS and ARGO yourself: you find the right people in hospitals, medical centers and practices, run the conversations, demo the product and close. What you hear from customers goes straight into the product, and you have a seat at the table when we decide what to build next. This is not a sales job with a script, a lead list and quarterly slides. Leading a team is not part of the role, taking ownership is.

What We Are Looking For

  • Three to eight years of B2B software sales, ideally SaaS with your own quota.
  • You use AI as a matter of course, including to build things yourself: research, analyses, tools for your sales work.
  • You like doing things for the first time and help build the sales process rather than inherit one.
  • Business-fluent German and good English.
  • Three to four days a week in Hamburg.

Nice to have

None of these is required, each one helps: selling to physicians, practices or hospitals; tech sales; a medical background; product, discovery or customer success experience; tenders. Bonus if you read "Never Split the Difference" and negotiated differently afterwards, or learn from Omid Mouazen, Dirk Kreuter or Alex Hormozi on YouTube.

How to apply

Send us your CV and tell us in a few sentences about a deal you are proud of. Who bought, what was hard, how did you solve it? That tells us more than any cover letter.

Sounds like you?
